Sunflower press cake is a by-product formed in the process of obtaining sunflower oil. 

It is a valuable product in compound feed for animals' diets that include a concentration of fats and protein (up to 27%). Recommended for use in fish and animal farms and for feeding poultry. Sunflower press cake has more protein per serving than the majority of grain crops. 

Also, it includes some residual oil (up to 12%), but this residual oil cannot be compared to fodder because it is far less oxidized and enriched more by vitamin E.
